Today is the submission for the project and everyone is busy printing and all those. This Is because the printing shop is full of UIR students. Hence, the teachers never blame us and we are really grateful for the teacher kind understanding. The teachers also tells us that we have our blog presenting next week and the whole class make noise and we are pretty nervous for it. However, I am also looking forward to it because at the blog presentation I can see all the design that my classmates have done.{1:04 PM}!
Today, I compile all my finding of the project and do the last editing to the project. Seriously I hope that the effort that I had put in for the project will have a good outcome. If it is put into good use, I hope that I can score well for the project and have a good grade. Anyway I did not do anything much as the compiling and editing had already take up most of the times that I had in class.{1:04 PM}!
Today is the e-learning week for the UIR, hence I did not do anything much beside editing the project that I have uploaded last week. I seriously hope that the thing that I have edit is put into good use for the project.{1:03 PM}!
Today is the day that I had my quiz 2 and luckily I pass the quiz by one mark. This is so lucky of me. Anyway, today we continue with the project. Today I also upload the finding of my result and I given up my link to the and upload it to the wiki website to enable my group mate to collate all and do a bibliography. This is quite a tough part as I not only have to show my link on the website, I have to do a brief summary for the stuff that I have found and this already take up roughly an hour and half to complete the whole stuff.{1:03 PM}!
Today, I am nearly late for class today. I am very lucky to be just on time. Today is the releasing of the assignment 2. The lecturer helps us to form group and to choose a topic to work for the project. The topic that I have chosen is the impact of alcoholism on youth. This is a pretty interesting as we have choose is to know the statistic on youth drinking and what should we do to prevent more youth falling into the habit of drinking. This topic also enables me to know how different professor tackle this problem and how they keep trying different ways to help them. however, no matter how much they had help the people, youth keeps falling into the ways of drinking.{1:02 PM}!

This is because we have to use key words to search for the website that I need to find. This also enable me to know command such as “, ;, AND and OR to make the search faster and more relevant. During, this two weeks I have also make use of the new search engine that I have just found recently which is the www.metacrawler.com. This website helps me to take down all the irrelevant website that is of no use to me. Comparing Metacrawler to yahoo and Google, metacrawler is better is because they will compare the search result of both Yahoo and Google, adding on to that, they will also take down website that is no use. The relevancy of Metacrawler is also much higher than Yahoo and Google.{1:01 PM}!

The response time for this search is 0.32 seconds which is the average speed for the search page to load. The first few pages of results are quite relevant. But the following pages will get and more redundant.
Meta Search Engine: Metacrawlerthe URL key words is Buisness information. The size of hits of Metacrawler is 97 only and the results were relevant and very defined. Although Metacrawler consist of several search engine results, but this meta search is able to identify the most relevant results. The ranking of this search is second because the results hit are small. User may not be able to find enough information. The interface of this search facility is also user friendly and simple but the color are quite dull.

Today is the third time that I have attended UIR. This week I had learn that whatever stuff that I had search online can link to different purposes such as Information, Advocacy, Business/marketing, News, Personal, Entertainment. Hence, with all the different purposes that I have learnt during this lesson can make me search for my stuff easier as I know that what type of keywords I should type when I am searching for new website.

This week is the second time that I attend UIR classes. Today, the lecturers ask us to break down the thing that we had search online. The search stuffs that is being break down to different category. The categories are Subject-based, organization, Personal
, Organization and subject-based topics. This amaze me as I do not knows that the stuffs that I have search actually can break down to so many different categories. One of the things that I am amaze is that stuff such as ethics is actually belong to the subject base and not organization. I have also found something interesting which is I have know the search website that is http://www.metacrawler.com/ as they give a full detail of the things that I search.
